Life
My wife, Vicki, and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary on the 18th of June. We have been living here in San Antonio since 1986. Both of us retired from the USAF, and our oldest son, Steven, is currently in the USAF, having completed 18 years to date. He and Paula have 2 daughters, 14 and 16. David and Elexis have a daughter 12 and a son 10. Steven lives in Dover, DE. David lives in Springfiled MO. I am chairman of the Deacons, and I teach the Adult 3 Sunday school class here at Northwest Hills Baptist Church.
I still enjoy working on high performance Fords. I have a Shelby GT 500, that I bought new when I returned from Vietnam in 1971. I also have other mustangs, and I enjoy them very much.
We haven't been back to Pickens in a couple of years, but we are planning on a visit sometime this fall. It is not fun to go back when there are no parents to visit.
